Try On Style
I'm not completely satisfied with it. And if I were the editor, I would probably scrap it. Nothing visually makes me want to jumpin and read the story, however I made an attempt and as I have been home sick for a week with NASTY BRONCHITIS I thought I would like to give this a go...
It looks like a layout I have seen before, but I think I just ended up using elements that I wanted; the photo-edges, the film strip at the bottom displaying some of my designs and likes, my glasses, and even my typography. I've read somewhere before that no matter the publication, there is always a general rule for layouts. Layouts are built in blocks. I tried to stay true to that, but then again I was trying to have fun at the same time.
