Frequented Sites

Jane "Danger" Davenport
I just recently found Jane.  She is a licensed artist, which means she has licensed her art out for reproduction and she is paid a licensing fee.  She is also Australian, which I love.  She teaches whimsical face drawing and her background is in fashion illustration.

Yvonne Eijkenduijn
Yvonne is a blogger, a photographer, a cook and a person who talks a lot with her hands.  Her blog is clean and fresh.  She lives in Belgium, but grew up in the Netherlands - one of my favourite countries.  Seriously, if you like clean yet whimsical design - this chick is the one to listen to.

Danielle Laporte
Danielle is a mixture of sassy new-age meets Chanel and brains with a dash of beat poetess.  She has authored a few books, become an internationally know guru on feeling good and how to get there, and did a little life coaching here and there (including a few pole-dancing studios).  Her blog is a mixture of advice, meditation, poetry, and sermon.

Pinterest
Need I say more?  I have like 3 pinterest accounts.  It's ridiculous.

S E E D, Denise Pasquinelli
Denise is a friend of mine, a new friend.  We met over the summer when we found out that we both signed up to be book club leaders for the Desire Map Book Club.  She's a lovely person, she has a rich spirit, and she wants more for people.  Her site is part blog part holistic nutritional coaching.  But it's the kind of place that is like a picnic, or a gathering of friends, or a cozy night by the fire.  If you're so inclined to read her words and peruse through her yummy recipes, please stop by.

Ali Edwards
I have been following Ali for 7 years.  She is a scrapbook'er of the clean and simplified design.  She has amazing projects, is talented, and shares her life of being a work at home mama.

Ana Hata
Ana Hata Katkin is a mixed media artist I fell in love with about 7 years ago when I found her then new line PAPAYA!.  She is the artist I would like to steal from if I could.  Her work is gypsy-esque and her techniques are soulful and forgiving.  Her product line is uplifting, spiritual, and feminine.

Cathy Zielske
Another cleanly designed scrapbook artist and have also been following her around for about 6/7 years.  I am turned on by clean graphic design, and this lady is the bomb.

Sabrina Ward Harrison
Wonderful Artist and Author.  Following since 2004, art started to come alive for me with Brave on the Rocks.

Teesha Moore
Mixed Media Journaler since way back!  "To me, making art is play. I don't worry what others will think of it. I do it and if others like it, great. If they don't, I know they will move onto the next artist who inspires them. I create from my gut. I let whatever is inside of me come out, so I step aside as much as possible so that can happen. I am always happy to share any idea or technique I know with anyone who wants to listen because it is all about creativity and if something I say can get someone to shoot off down a path of their own creativity, there is no greater joy for me.
