So here it is, my idea!
I have been wanting to do something crafty and artsy for a while. Just haven't had the steam to do so, I wanted to do it in early December, but couldn't get the gumfph. Now I think I am ready!
ALTERED ART CAMP!
Art is Joy is Art Camp! a.j.a Camp! YEA!!
Ok!! Am so excited about this! Yes, we will be doing altered art and am fantastically excited about it! I have fallen love with paper arts and have figured out 7 topics that I would like to touch on! And maybe make some pretty cool gifts out of it as well!
I also hope to promote my DIY Revolution Craft Fair, which will be juried.
So anyways, because I am so excited about the AJA Camp, here is a sneak peek of the camps that will be offered:
January - Possible Kickoff, towards the end of the month like the 28th of Jan. We will make a paper bag calendars that will showcase our monthly projects.
February - Books!
March - Coffee Cans
April - Clocks
May - Altoid Tins (Candy Tins)
June - Magazines
July - Jars, Vases, Bottles
August - Paint Chips
That is all I have so far, but as the ideas come, I will be adding more. I am super excited. I begin work on restoring the CUUPs room at my church for this NON-Religious Art Camp. I'd like to get young women involved too who are interested in trying something new!
Things I have to work on tonight -
Laundry!
Finish wrapping gifts
Pack into boxes
Put old clothes into bags to give to charity
Gotta run, it is getting cold!
